Ask me anything   tags

This is a collection of what I found in the cyberspace, with an exception of some photos that are my original. These are things that I find beautiful, funny, or amazing. Things that make me smile. Things I want to share, and remember. Which often includes; places far away, beautiful homes, cats, lovely products, inspirational words, and just awesome images. If you are interested in what i THINK, i also tumble here.

fuckyeahkitties:

This was taken at 12:49AM last night. My cat Akira was holding a conference with 6 other kitties - on my bed. At bedtime. Needless to say, I’m desperately needing some shuteye now - they didn’t budge all night…

We only know these crimes took place because insiders blew the whistle at great personal risk … Government whistleblowers are part of a healthy democracy and must be protected from reprisal.

Obama's Transcendent Address →

None smaller than the de facto leader of today’s Republican party, Sarah Palin, who preceded the Tucson address with an aggressive, self-regarding and petty-minded videotaped message that claimed she had been the victim of a “blood libel”. The contrast between the two performances could not have been sharper.

takudeath:

If you read a recent front page story of the San Francisco Chronicle, you would have read about a female humpback whale who had become entangled in a spider web of crab traps and lines. She was weighted down by hundreds of pounds of traps that caused her to struggle to stay afloat. She also had hundreds of yards of line ropewrapped around her body, her tail, her torso, a line tugging in hermouth. A fisherman spotted her just east of the Farallon Islands (outside the Golden Gate) and radioed an environmental group for help. Within a few hours, the rescue team arrived and determined that she was so bad off, the only way to save her was to dive in anduntangle her. They worked for hours with curved knives and eventually freed her. When she was free, the divers say she swam in what seemed like joyous circles. She then came back to each and every diver, one at a time, and nudged them, pushed them gently around as she was thanking them. Some said it was the most incredibly beautiful experience of their lives. The guy who cut the rope out of her mouth said her eyes were following him the whole time, and he will never be the same.
